I was bussed to R. L. Stevenson from 71-73. Then, I was bussed to Lawton for grades 4-6. I always wondered what happened to all the white kids who were there my first year or so. Now I know. I've always wanted to see a doctumentary or something about the consequences of bussing then and now, some thirty years later. As a society, and as individuals, did we lose or gain. Or was it just a futile exercise? Personally, I think I gained tremendously.
