I was a Campfire Girl during the 50's and yes, I remember my indian name, as a matter of fact I mentioned it during a class I was teaching here in San Angelo, Texas. It was Ca-u-na which meant singing moon flower. I am still singing and directing church choirs and especially love a Texas sky full of stars. I learned many constellations while at Camp Caniya and treasure flowers that dare to grow in Texas. Does anyone know if Caniya still exists?
