I remember "Robert's at the Beach."
My father Vince Quinn was good friends with Shorty Robert's ...SHORTY and his horse BLACKIE swam the golden gate in 1939 .I believe ? not sure about that date? Anyway I worked for Shorty at his catering hall on the great highway when I was going to high school. He dressed impeccably in a nice suit everyday and always wore a hat to match. He had a sister named Rose and a brother Charlie.
He was a very generous man everyone liked...He was First Class all the way..He treated me great. I was glad to have known him. Bob Quinn
