I expressed similar views about the same sort of thing to Warren Crandall about Playland, the Cliff House and Sutro. For a town that prides itself on restoring and boasting of it's history it sure is proving itself to be a hypocrite. Hey San Franscians, R E A L San Franciscans, when are you going to show your rollicking spirit and say enough is enough? Or are you too contect to live with memories only?! Come on, some of the money that is so lavishly getting spent could go to rebuilding and actually restoring this stuff. Enough laziness, chickeness, and lies from the outsiders! San Franisco reclaim your history and YOURSELF!
