Although I think the new entrance is attractive, I can't help but think about those poor animals that have been in those same tiny environments. It seems that almost all the large animals (lions, tigers, bears, elephants, giraffes, etc.) have those same cement jails. I love the zoo, but where are their priorities? How does any of this new entrance stuff benefit animals? I just may have to give up my membership. I realize this is stuff for the zoo to hear. I just needed to get that off my chest. Please let me know if any of you are interested in letting the zoo know how we feel. Do you think that would help at all?
