Here I am living in upstate New York and remembering O'Neill sisters' which I haven't thought of by name in at least 40 years.
I was in dance classes there from about 1959-63. Within the first year I began "spraining" my knee and everyone said I was a baby - I've now had that knee replaced (at age 45) and am due to have the other done in June (I'm 53 now).
Yes, I remember the maypole dances (how PAGAN we all were!) and the Kezar stadium things and the Mazurka costumes with pointy hats.
