Maybe against my will, I went to the studio on Lawton in the evening to take ballroom and other dancing lessons, probably about 1960. This was the time when the "Twist" was new but we were learning waltz, cha-cha-cha and foxtrot. Mrs. Fordyce and a male assistant ran the school and, as I recall, her son was in the class with us. At that time the store of interest to me on that block was the Sun Valley Dairy on the corner. Later I made many trips to the auto parts store.
