I'm a 1968 Jefferson grad. Started kindergarden when the school was being rebuilt in 1960 after the fire. We we're bussed to Francis Scott Key and returned to Jefferson in the 2nd grade. I had Miss Brennan - 2nd grate, Mrs Elliot - 3 rd, Mrs Tealman - 4th, Mrs Brennan - 5th, Mrs Griffin - 6th. Principal was Mrs Coakley and I remember janitor Mr Black. I grew up just half a block away on the 1200 block of 18th Ave. I remember great years at Jefferson! Still recall a lot of classmates too.
