When I was a kid, fortunately we didn't have the proliferation of fast food restaurants on every corner or every strip mall. (Hey we really didn't have strip malls either!) So when we did have foods that were take out, they had what seemed to be a better quality. I remember my first ever pizza came from Toto's in Daly City on Junipero Serra. At the time I thought that was really good. When I was a teenager I was introduced to Villa Romano pizza and what a huge improvement. But I still had a warm spot for my first pizza, Toto's.
