I was lucky to be able to come home for a class reunion in 2010, and I stayed with a classmate in her Forest Hills home. The third floor of the home also had direct access to the roof, where I enjoyed a 360-degree view. The first thing I saw was the Sutro Tower. Having been gone for so long, I thought, "What is THAT thing?" It took me a few seconds to refresh my memory. :) :)
But I DO like the idea that it's now being used to create fun light shows...that's better than nothing!
