Hated it from the get-go and my feelings have not softened with age. Like some monster from a 1950’s Japanese sci-fi, this monstrosity crawled out of the Empire one Saturday afternoon to perch atop Mt. Sutro, peering down on the natives like a praying mantis looking for a mate to behead.
Being immune and ignorant to its purpose for tv/radio reception, I believe it was a Devil’s bargain which perhaps cable and wifi might today supervene .
