I grew up in Miraloma Park district and delivered papers for the Call-Bulletin starting at 10 years of age (1959). I also would read the "Irish Green Sheet" and the history of those passing on. The obits were at the end of the Sporting section which was green in color. I assumed that everyone was referring to that name because of the color of the pages and green being Irish as was everyone in my area.
