The Castro - when it was all Eureka Valley!
San Francisco has always been a small town... How many times did one ride a streetcar, act up (not me, of course) and have someone call your aunt who called your mother to tell her about it?
We were neighbors, as well! We lived on 19th Avenue and Ortega in 1956/57. My brother went to St Cecilia's, I was too young for kindergarten, but walked to the Safeway on 19th & Noriega all by myself!
It's a small, small world...
