Yeah, I remember my parents occasionally muttering about "earthquake weather."
If memory serves, the weather at the time was usually very overcast and grey (and I'm not talking about our usual fog). No breezes. Felt kind of oppressive.
I do not recall ever actually experiencing an earthquake when this particular weather was present.
Your links are very helpful in sorting the old myths from actual scientific facts.
