Thanks, Jo Anne, for your interest. And, Frank, I really appreciate the link photo you shared. The photo helped me see some of the original motel, enough to realize it seems a northern wing was added to the building during later years. Also, it seems that the motel has changed with the times, not only on the supply side, but also in terms of demand. Current room rates seem to be nearly half of what they were in the early 2000s. And, it appears a lot of working poor reside there, along with adventurous young people, and families, seeking to save some money...
