I just learned that Highway One to Pacifica used to run from Thornton Beach in Daly City along the cliffs for about two miles to Mussel Rock.
I couldn't believe it, but maps don't lie. It looks like a northern version of Devil's Slide.
Does anybody have any information or memories on that white knuckle ride?
