As for sea level rise - an interim fix might be a good pair of fishing waders, sand bags, and if you can arrange to do so, a seance to raise the ghost of San Francisco’s most celebrated engineer Michael O’Shaughnessy. Perhaps pushing the Moon into a more distant orbit might decrease its influence on tidal fluctuation. Sun shades placed in orbit over the mid-Latitudes could cool the ocean helping to ameliorate atmospheric warming.
