As always, I enjoyed Frank's latest streetwise. Last month marked the 85th anniversary of the Bay Bridge's grand opening, and his article included some very nice photos. One additional thing to add is that commemorative half dollars were struck at the San Francisco Mint for this occasion. They were sold for $1.50 apiece in drive-up booths near the toll entrance, or they could be purchased by mail. Enough were sold that it's not a rare coin today, with unworn examples starting around $150.
