I've always thought the sunset district from essentially the windmills to sloat looks a lot like the Sendai Province of japan, which we all saw get completely leveled in 2010 Fukushima disaster

we know about the great cascadian earthquakes originating from the northwest in the past

it doesn't take a a geologist and an oceanographer running into each other's worlds, like in the old Reese's peanut butter cup commercials, to figure it out, and put the puzzle pieces together, to come up with a new narrative, that provides insight into the past ,as well as the future
