I've been working on our family's history for some time now. It starts with my maternal grandparents' marriage and I'm now up to about 2008. I've been hoping to get it finished before I run out of time and it's looking like I will.
It's been a work of love for all those who have gone before as well as a gift for the kids.
I wrote the story in decades, beginning with brief histories of each decade as I went along. And I learned a lot. (and probably forgot a lot, too) And I'm glad to have made it this far - I can see the finish line!
