Re: If you didn't live in Outside Lands where would you live?

Greetings and Salutations!

I've been thinking about this, and have not changed my mind.
I am very happy living right where I am. I have all I need to
age in place. I enjoy our seasons (altho last week's 107
degrees was a bit much), and even the rain. I miss fog, but
it does appear( seldom) here and am still delighted when it
does.

It is impossible to return to SF of 40, 50, 60+ years ago, and
even the 50s part of when we first moved there. I would
probably enjoy being there again, but I just can't consider
spending so much $$$$$$$$ for former bargains. I left,
moved on, and gradually fit into the North West life, which
wasn't that different very long ago from SF long ago.

Keep moving. Look back but keep moving. The quicksand of
regret will suck you down if you do not. American settlers/immigrants did not look back. I miss my old life of
long ago, but understand it hss gone into a memory box.

Remember past memories. Now celebrate the present. If you
don't, you will be sucked down into the quicksand.

I enjoy my memories here, but enjoy the present where I am.
