I lived and grew up at 230 Vernon Street from 2965-1980 and remember me and my sisters playing on that hill. I am the youngest and my older sisters and neighborhood friends told me that a witch lived in that house and we would run down the hill screaming in horror when someone would yell they saw her, lol. It's nice to see that its more developed and there is a community garden now. Just wanted to add my history of the hill to this site. Thanks for the opportunity!
