When I was sick in bed back in the Day (1940's), the only daytime shows were the ever favorites: Don McNeil's Breakfast Club, Stella Dallas, and Lorenzo Jones and His Wife Belle. The night shows were better such as Green Hornet and Cisco Kid (and his sidekick Pancho).
