I not only went, but as I recall on the Sunday show the Beatles played a matinee show and then another show in the evening. The Beatles were also a huge part of my life
growing up in the 50's in San Francisco. Funny enough, years after the Beatles split up I went to a concert at the very same Cow Palace, it was the night Elvis died 8/16/77 and my twin brother took me to see KISS, well the
opening band was from Rockford ILL called Cheap Trick and they reminded me so much of the Beatles that I still go out and see them when ever they come to town. They've been
around for 30 years, and always remind me of the Beatles!
