The Surf was a great spot for old films, foreign films, and just an eclectic mix of high brow, low brow, and no brow.

I remember seeing Endless Summer there and a score of film noir and old classics.

Alas, while you were having the time of your life at the Surf, I was watching films at the Brattle Theater in Cambridge. By the time I moved home, the Surf was gone.

It was a lot of fun...
