Ah, yes... Land's End... El Camino del Mar - The Land of the Whispering Bushes...

Alas, the [original] Sutro Baths closed before I was of age, but there were plenty of places in The Outside Lands to look for love - in all the wrong places.

I fondly remember Polk St before the Castro took over... Buzzby's was too much fun - literally. The White Swallow...

And my favorite liquor store - Sukkers Likkers. They had a great marquee with constantly changing slogans. My favorite still is "Sex is nobody's business but the three people doing it."

Ah... sweet youth...
