Just had a flash-back and recalled the term "heavy." It somehow now makes me smile, perhaps because we nicknamed a good friend Heavy, that being his favorite expression. Much new language came out of the 60's with so many cultures coming to the fore.
I get concerned at times that abbreviated texting lines like LOL, will displace more descriptive words and our vocabularies will shrink. Guess I'm getting too heavy.
