Thanks, John. I can’t recall a name but with the 4-note horn jam the man was greeted as royalty on Northgate Ave.

The ice cream (ting-a-ling) man would sell 1/2 a popsicle for a nickel and often gave the other 1/2 away to a kid with all longing and no allowance.

We had Stornetta Dairy delivery during Summers in Sonoma and their chocolate milk and orange aide were consumed in mass quantities.

ironically, I have Instacart now due to Covid and use my iPhone instead of a pinwheel of delights left in the neck of an empty bottle on the porch.
