A thought for the mix, when we were young 50-60 years ago sea lions, seals, salmon, grey whales had been hunted to near extension by local and foreign fish processers. 35 years ago I recall seeing foreign fish processing ships 3 three miles offshore.

With the Marine protection laws now in effect, these marine spices are making a dramatic comeback. Hence more fish with a certain amount of natural die off. I never recall hearing of the Great White Shark in my youth, it is in the area now because this is where the food is.
