Just a note of encouragement about describing the neighborhood's "warts". History isn't always pretty, and telling things the way you remember them in the Sunset (and not cutting out the bad stuff) makes the whole thing real.
The funny thing about interviewing people for WNP is people always start off telling me how carefree, innocent and trouble-free things were "back then". Then, as they tell the details of their lives, incidents of racism, abuse, poverty, etc. come one by one alongside the golden memories.
Tell the truth, I say! We all benefit from the truth.
