Parker Avenue between Geary and Anza is TWICE the width of its other blocks, south of Anza and north or Geary.
That "200 block" has sidewalks 26 feet wide and the street is also more than wide enough for TWO travel lanes in each direction.
It seems "ceremonial" in proportions.....
I find no records of the reason.
