As I wrote before the site here crashed... This Venue began to fade into seediness after Chet Helms left and yes at one point in 1971 I believe a rich kid from LA produced a rock opera there called "Robin", which had a message in its plot which in some ways paralleled Tommy. Yes, even a nude scene at the end of the performance which allowed the performers to go out into the audience naked for a human finale. I started to work there as crew for a couple of weeks, but the show did not do well and rich boy ran out of funds for this vision.
