I remember Frances R. Fusselman so vividly. She was my homeroom teacher for 3 years. I also had her for French. As the homeroom teacher filled out their students reportcards, and she filled out mine, I remember that she always used purple ink for that task. She also had beautiful handwriting. Though she was strict and had a reputation of being "mean" I really liked her. She set standards of behavior and what was expected. I wish there were more Frances R. Fusselman's today!
