Let's see then...we had Golden Gate Dairy milk (was that not a dairy later known as Foremost?) although we switched over to Sun Valley Dairy when I joined Pack 351 (everybody in the pack and later the troop took Sun Valley). There was also the Colonial Bread truck that came regularly (great do-nuts). I also recall a guy with a green vegetable truck in the early 50s that made the rounds in Monterey Heights. I vaguely recall a knife sharper also made the rounds (but that memory is really foggy and may simply be fiction). I always dreamed that we would get an ice cream truck like out in the burbs (I was told at some point that unions kept them out of the town but I wager it was actually the fog...what do you know?)
