That I cannot recall - perhaps it was earlier than the 50s, which is when I was a child in the Sunset.

The deliveries I recall very well as being available are bread, milk, fruits and vegetables. One would see ice trucks but everyone had refrigerators.

There were various brands of bread and milk. I recall Renon and Wonder bread, and Borden milk.

Does anyone recall the following? For milk, at least for Borden, there was a paper fan-like device with various colored "fingers" that was put in the window so that the milkman knew what to deliver without asking.
