The only things I remember being delivered to our house on 20th Avenue was coal and ice. My mother did all her shopping at Pine Lake Market. My father always brought the newspaper home from his drug store, and as I recall the Call-Bulletin sold for 3 cents back in those days.

This message is for Jo Anne Q: The product I believe you are thinking about is Mrs. Stewarts Liquid Bluing. And by chance I still have a bottle of this product in my cupboard. The bottle looks like it has never been opened, my tee shirts are looking a bit dingy so it probably should be put to use.
