I ran into a small piece today on a professional blog that said a teacher could not afford a house in SF any longer given the average cost of a home and the average salary of a teacher. It stated that a fraction of the homes in Marin might be within the mortgage guidelines.
Where in the world can the population of City workers and teachers that made up the Sunset in the years past possibly afford to live now days????
