Ironically W.M., if aspirin were introduced today, it could never get FDA approval for OTC status and would require a prescription. Aspergum, a product that was used for sore throats, was pulled off the market due to lack of proven effectiveness and kid's chewing it like candy. No medicine that tastes pleasant can really be any good, right? Case in point...whiskey and biting a bullet for amputations and surgical procedures prior to injectable morphine and general anesthesia.

Say ahhhh,
