I may have mentioned this fella before.
His name was Ken Worthington (a Lincoln kid I think) and a bit of an Icon from the late 60's to mid 70's. KYA or KFRC finally had him do surfing reports over the phone as sort of an impromptu 'live-remote' reporter.
