Galavanting around Italy

We're back in Florence right now, after a week in Rome and a side-trip to Venice. Head home tomorrow after two glorious weeks here. Whenever anyone has asked where we're from, the answer has always been "San Francisco." The moment we utter the words, you see smiles on faces, dreamy looks in their eyes. There are two distinct types - those who have been to SF and love it - and those who want to go some day. Sometimes we forget just how much others love our city - as much as we are enjoying theirs.
