I attended Parkside School in the 1960s. As a matter of fact, whenever anybody asks me; where were you when President Kennedy was assasinated, I remember that I was sitting on the bench located next to the flag pole at Parkside School. I was in third grade.

The Parkside School represents a lot of history and should not be destroyed. Rehab the school and bring it back to its past glory.

I think we need to do what is legally necessary to rehabilitate the old Parkside School. It will serve as a more powerful symbol of education than a school named after a politician, the likes of Senator Feinstein, who does not, in my opinion, represent anything having to do with education or the positive values that our children should aspire to.
