We moved to The City in December 1955, and (just like Rose in the comic strip) I felt much shorter, and so amazed as I looked about then new, now old, and new again, views of my home for almost exactly 17 years. Once again, I'm in the time machine passing thru the fourth dimension. There are some views that disappeared forever not too long afterwards. The rare sunny day everywhere on the days of filming showed no fog sweeping the ground, no Twin Peaks Tower eyesore, no sign of the Embarcadero freeway that was to be built only to be destroyed (always an upside to everything) by the second big earthquake. Thank you so much for letting us know about this rare and delightful trip back to where so many memories remain.
