Wow, thanks for the warm welcome. Jo Anne, I'm surprised you remember the Richfield at 400 Taravel. My dad leased it for a few years (pre-sinkhole) before moving to 1150 Vicente which then became Arco.

Frank G, it means a lot to me to hear about my father. Back then you always knew your tires where good and your fluids where full when you got gas. When work was slow, four of us would button our top shirt button and wait on car's INDY style. It didn't matter if it was a fill-up or two dollars worth, they got the works. This was in the 70's but people really enjoyed the 50's treatment.
