These stories of "old Stonestown" are great!

I remember as a little kid the big dare was to ride your bike through the service tunnel from the south side of Buckingham near QFI to where it came out under the Emporium without getting caught. And on our walk through Stonestown to school at St. Stephen's we always cut through the medical building at 20th and Buckingham and rode the elevator up to the second floor and walked across the parking lot behind the YMCA...that was when the medical building even had an elevator operator, named Jim!
