Those dozens of pics are reminiscent of the corner of 33rd & Anywhere in the Sunset...The overhead wires and the clouds, plus the huge variety of fences haven't changed much in the last 75 years or so. It was SF native, Robert Frost, who told the world "Good fences make good neighbors".
But those painted pathways--I'm especially reminded of all the retired older guys I knew who would painstakingly paint the trim (or the diamond, box, or swirl patterns) in their driveways and sidewalks. Those are just one more little touch of our collective past slowly fading from the scene as parts of the Sunset begin to resemble a gigantic used car lot.
