I think Flying Goose had a contract with the SF Unified School District to provide sporting equipment. I remember announcements mentioning them in homeroom when I was at Herbert Hoover and also being told to go there when I got my block and jacket at Lowell. (Still have it by the way). Although I'm not sure, I'm wondering if they also provided the public schools with sports team uniforms.
