i don't remember the name of the store where we purchased our SI jackets (i only remember jostens for the class rings) but i do have many fond memories from hours spent at flying goose sporting goods as well as wally's ice cream next door. at the time wally's had the best peppermint ice cream in the world, with lots of big chunks of peppermint laced into the mix. my fondest memory of wally's was as i was walking out the door with my single scoop of peppermint ice cream, it tilted sideways and the scoop toppled onto the ground. the person behind the counter spotted my mishap and beckoned me to return to the counter for a replacement...free!
