My dentist was scary enough.Patrick, I'm glad I didn't go to Dr. Plato. I waited at that corner to catch the 28 from school when I went to Jefferson Elementary. Dr. Plato's daughter was in my class.

Like Jo Anne Q, I really enjoyed the 1940 picture of the entrance to Golden Gate Park. As I was in the child care center, we went through those portals many times on our way to the playground nearby. Many a time I rolled down the grassy hill. Just talking about it gives me a dizzy feeling.

I remember how crowded the bus was even in the late 40's. Maybe the bus was crowded, but there were less cars
for sure.
