As I remember, the widen 19th Avenue ended at Lincoln. The road through the park was still a narrow two lane which came out at 25th Avenue. The City did some widening from Fulton to Seacliff to the entrance to the Presidio. That road was a two lane road up the hill to an underpass at the Golden Gate Bridge Doyle Drive. There was no access to the bridge.
The ramp from Doyle Drive to the Richmond District ended at Park-Presidio and Lake Street. From there to Fulton was the original four lane parkway. 19th Avenue wasn't connected to the Bridge until Crossover Drive was constructed, including the bridge over the Main Drive in the park after WW 11, probably in the fifties.
