While 16 Parkside Lane does not exist in San Francisco, it does exist in Brooklyn, New York. The address is by the Parade Grounds which Harry would be very familiar with as a student at Brooklyn Technical High School. I would say it is the inspiration for the address in Taxi. It is a shame he was taken from this earth so young. I have always wondered if there was a third sequel where he and sue reconnected and went flying off together.
Harry had said in an interview that “Taxi” resonates with so many people because everyone has a Sue. He was so right!
